Fantasy’s number one fighting female. Sure. OK. Cool.
I dig this cover for the excellent use of that cyan only face. The composition is strong. Sonja is posed in a legit fighting pose, not an oversexualized pin up pose. That dead guy is fantastic. It’s very intense.
I like Red Sonja as a character. Earlier Sonja is better, in general, than the modern version. Writer’s get influenced by various political and social trends rather than telling a decent sword and sorcery story. And the cheesecake is too tempting, or expected. I want a good story with gritty action and strong characters. Sonja works well as a mercenary or guide.
Anyway, the first series was quite good.

Guess it’s only sexist when republicans and comic artists do it (and I am so, so sorry I injected politics into this…)
