Logan’s Run has been a favorite of mine since I saw it on tv in the 70s. I’ll likely do more from it and more with Michael York, whom I adore.
Logan’s jewel is forcibly changed so he can better catch a runner. I wanted to exaggerate the sense of anxiety stemming from it. I draw the focus to the jewel symbolizing how everything hinges on it.
I don’t care much for straight or even so I manipulated the circles to toughen them up. I think I built a good, confusing pattern of focal points. What would normally draw your eye now may repel it.
