Blade Runner 2020 uncropped digital
I am, and have been, completely obsessed with Blade Runner. I’ve been occasionally making blade runner art for myself. Given that I am focused more on film illustration currently I felt it would be good to post this. I am very proud of it.
I like doing unusual images if I am taking from a film. I would consider this movie art as fan art more than anything.
I limited my palette and used some textures like zip-a-tone. Trying to balance the colors took some thought. This film illustration was a good stretch of how I think in composing and planning the relationship of colors side by side.
