A lot is going on here. Let’s start with the dog. Is it angry, ready to attack? Or in some pain from his atrophying front legs?
The man. I love the detail on his chest plate. The uniform is groovy and the colors pop. That hand tho. Is that an artist that cannot draw hands? (The woman’s hands are hidden too) Did it get overworked? Is that really bad spot blacking?
The woman. She is selling this cover. Her hair I will give a pass. That was a type then and I don’t know anything about these characters. She could be modern. The garb is great, especially that little filigree. I have issues with her mouth. Not sure what is going on there.
Overall, I would read this book if I came across it. Looks like it would be good.
